The road leading to Saleccia beach does not belong to the campsite. It is a communal road.

Please note that the historic entrance of the road (still appearing on some GPS) no longer leads to Saleccia. The new access is 800m further (GPS point here).

From now on, major works are carried out there every year in order to allow most vehicles to be able to circulate on it.

At present we see city vehicles making the trip without complications. However, it all depends on the driver’s behavior and the height under the vehicle’s chassis because, depending on the weather, there may be water holes (rare in summer).

In any case, we do not have the possibility of knowing the evolution of his condition every day, and the opinions of different people can be very divergent. We therefore invite you to form your own opinion on the first kilometer which is very representative of the general condition.

We strongly advise against the crossing for RV over 7m and higher than 3m.

Finally you have the possibility of taking a 4×4 shuttle or the boat shuttle (info on the website of the tourist office of St Florent).

NEWS 2024

This year the municipality specified the authorization for vehicle circulation on the basis of the following criteria:

– ground clearance greater than 17cm

– maximum length of 7m

– maximum height of 3m

– no towed element (trailer, caravan, etc.)

– a motorcycle suitable for off-road use

All vehicles not meeting one or more of these criteria risk being refused access to the road. If necessary, we ask you to specify that you have a reservation at the campsite, and if necessary to call us to justify your visit.

The cost of passage is €5 for motorcycles and €10 for 4-wheel vehicles. This amount is used by the municipality to maintain the road in good condition each year.

These regulations apply at the entrance to the road, from the end of June to mid-September, between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Outside of these times you can enter the road without being checked.
