The track leading to Saleccia beach does not belong to the campsite.
It is a communal track.
From now on, major works are carried out there every year in order to allow most vehicles to be able to use it.
At present we see city vehicles making the trip without complications. However, it all depends on the driver’s behavior and the height under the vehicle’s chassis because, depending on the weather, there may be water holes (rare in summer).
In any case, we do not have the possibility of knowing the evolution of his condition every day, and the opinions of different people can be very divergent. We therefore invite you to form your own opinion on the first kilometer which is very representative of the general condition.
We strongly advise against the crossing for motorhomes over 7m
Finally you have the possibility of taking a 4×4 shuttle or the boat shuttle (info on the website of the tourist office of St Florent).

A mere 90 minutes from Bastia, close to Saint-Florent, on the edge of the Agriate desert, is a beach known as the most beautiful and wild in Corsica, ranked among the nicest in Europe. The only way to get there is by boat or by vehicle through a rocky path in the desert. That very path is the natural boundary that prevents this jewel from becoming an over-crowded tourist destination in the summer.

NOTRE CANDIDATURE À L’ECOLABEL
The campsite is improving its resource management to become a model in the local ecology. With preparation for the “European Tourist Ecolabel” label, the kindness of the Conservatoire du Littoral, and thanks to your participation, we offer you a stay that has an even less impact on nature. Let us ensure that through our way of life, future generations can also recharge their batteries in a clean and wild place.
Concretely, what does that change ?
– In addition to the existing solar park, we are moving towards improved management of the energy produced by the generator with the use of LEDs for all lighting fixtures, as well as the installation of electrical sub-meters for better consumption.
– the preparation of a file, followed by work for the use of wastewater for watering purposes (project over 2 to 3 years).
– Improved waste management (with 5 different bins and improved composters since the end of the 2019 season).
– Much less plastic and the end of portions.
– The quality of products on sale at the grocery store and used in restaurants is constantly improving, with more and more organic and vegan dishes.
– The use of ecological products (soap, shampoo, cleaning products).
– The use of outdoor parking for all non-inhabited vehicles (cars, motorcycles, etc.) to free up more living space and offer us a more pleasant visual environment.

THE EVOLUTION OF THE PITCHES
We now manage reservations for the pitches. In addition, for your comfort and safety, vehicles without beds will be parked in the outdoor car park free of charge.
A vegetable garden and a chicken coop
Since the end of the 2019 season we have been moving towards a short circuit consumption system, with our vegetable garden and our henhouse!
Visits and practical workshops will be organized for the most interested among you.
